Reproduction Bascinet with a Pomme: 1410-1414
This helmet, seen earlier here, now has a pomme, a ball of gilded wood to hold feathers, just like Hector's. (Yes, that's Hector of Troy). I think it adds a note of style.
Pretty. Are ringneck pheasant (asian) feathers "known"?
